The remoteness of this trek is its main selling point when compared to other popular treks in Nepal. Trekking the Manaslu Circuit in Nepal is a privilege that only a few travelers have each year. Trekking in the Manaslu region became available in 1992. You will be trekking through a restricted area in Nepal that requires expensive permits to enter. Other strict rules include trekking with a registered Nepali trekking company and having at least two trekkers in the group (not including the guide and porter)
