The fashion district, otherwise known as "the Quadrangle", is one of the pulsating hearts of Milan, the most cosmopolitan of Italian cities. Here, a long tradition of bespoke tailoring and luxury crafts has joined international "haute couture" brands, creating a unique, surrounding experience of exclusivity. After a private visit to Museo Morando, in order to explore the story of fashion, the tour will pass by the stores of the world leading firms of luxury clothing and accessories, ending up in a historical pastry shop for a tasing of traditional Panettone; the joy of palate cannot but match the wonder of vision.

Itinerary

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Pass-by Only

The "Galleria", as Milanese citizens usually address this place, could be considered one of the very first malls in the world and an outstanding example of iron architecture of the late 19th century. It hosts historical boutiques and cafeterias and has always acted as a gathering place for artists and intellectuals.

Teatro Alla Scala
Pass-by Only

Considered as one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world, the Theatre was built between 1776 and 1778, under the government of Mary Therese of Austria. The great composer Giuseppe Verdi made his debut here in 1839 and after a few years, in 1842, performed for the first time his "Nabucco", which made the Teatro alla Scala one of the symbols of Italian Risorgimento.

Via Monte Napoleone

One of the most ancient streets of Milan, born following the plan of the pristine Roman walls. Its reputation has grown since the 19th century, when it became the centre of luxury and excellence crafts in the town centre. Nowadays, it hosts the flagship stores of the most important fashion brands in the world. Together with Via della Spiga, Via Sant'Andrea and Via Pietro Verri, Via Montenapoleone draws the so-called "Fashion Quadrangle".
