Go on a private island day tour during your Thailand holiday! Head to Krabi to explore four islands and discover the natural wonders in store!
Head to Phra Nang Cave on Phra Nang Beach, one of Krabi's most well-known and beautiful beaches. This beach, dubbed Krabi's Landmark, is a must-see; it has beautiful rock formations, green jungles, monkeys in the trees, fine soft sand, and a turquoise-blue sea. Witness the unique fertility shrine found at Phra Nang Cave, also known as Princess Cave.
Make your way to Tup Island, a popular day trip and tour location in Krabi. The vast majority of island-hopping excursions come here to witness and photograph the spectacular parting of the seas, so keep your camera handy!
Koh Tap lies in the Mu Koh Poda archipelago, southwest of Ao Nang between Koh Poda and Chicken Island. Tup is much smaller than the other islands in the group, but it boasts a lovely beach and the surrounding seas are excellent for snorkelling with a variety of tropical species.
Next, go to Chicken Island, also known as Koh Kai, Koh Gai, or Koh Hua Khwan. This small and unusual-looking island is about 30 minutes by longtail boat from Krabi's west coast, immediately south of the Poda and Tup Islands. Chicken Island earned its name from a large rock formation that resembles a chicken's head and neck. This local landmark has towering cliffs covered with greenery on one side, and a stunning beach on the other. Here, an one-of-a-kind natural phenomenon called Malay Waek occurs when a sandbar emerges from the water at low tide. This wonder distinguishes this island from the rest. The sandbar joins Chicken Island with the two smaller islands of Koh Mor and Tup, bringing the three islands together as one.
The fourth island is Koh Poda, a small island in southern Thailand off the coast of Krabi. Because of its proximity to popular tourist attractions like Ao Nang, Railay Beach, and Klong Muang, it is easy to visit by speedboat or longtail boat. Koh Poda is a small paradise that has one of Krabi's most beautiful beaches, with soft fine sand, crystal-clear water, undamaged reefs for snorkelling, and a magnificent backdrop with rock formations straight out of a travel book.
Head to these four islands on an amazing private day tour in Krabi!
