Itinerary
Lisse (Pass-by Only)
After a short drive from Amsterdam, we ride through the scenic area of Lisse. Depending upon the season you see a landscape with colourful bulb flower carpets in almost any colour you can imagine. We try to find a spot where we can stop to make some pictures.
Keukenhof
Then we continue to the true highlight of this tour, the park Keukenhof. Once a mere kitchen garden filled with vegetables and herbs, the Keukenhof now has the distinction of being the world’s largest flower garden, hosting some 1.000,000 visitors per year. Wander through the 15 kilometres of footpaths and 32 hectares of gardens, where millions of bulbs are planted each year. Discover the Keukenhof on your own leisure

Volendam Haven
A one hour drive you will take you from the Keukenhof to the beautiful seaside village of Volendam. In two hours you will experience how they make cheese, visit the centre and you will have free time to explorer Volendam and have some lunch (own expense). This is a great place to pick up souvenirs for those at home or a memento for yourself, and to have photos taken in traditional Dutch costume.
Zaanse Schans
A 30-minute drive will take you to the Windmill village Zaanse Schans. This outdoor conservation area is situated on the banks of the Zaan River and is home to traditional 18th and 19th century architecture, including several functioning windmills. Watch live demonstrations of craftsmen at work, including a clog maker crafting the famous wooden shoes of the Netherlands See how the world-famous Dutch cheese is made and, of course, to taste it in a cheese farm. There will be some free time to explore the village on your own, before traveling back to Amsterdam.
If option selected, the tour includes an open departure ticket to the popular Amsterdam Canal Cruise. Ticket is given during check-in of the tour The Amsterdam canal cruise passes by all of Amsterdam's famous attractions. is canal tour starts at the very heart of the city, right near Central Station. From here each cruise takes a different path through the city, depending on the amount of traffic on the canals and the size of the boat. Sights you will definitely see include the World Heritage-listed 17th-century canals and the cities iconic architecture. Enjoy the sights along the most famous of the waterways, the Herengracht, Keizersgracht & Prinsengracht. As you travel through Amsterdam's neighbourhoods, such as the Jordaan, the Nine Streets or the Pijp, you might see sights like the Amstel river which gave the city its name, the Anne Frank House and the iconic Skinny bridge. The tour is significantly enriched by an audio tour in 19 languages and observations from the captain.
