Kayak Tour of the Turquoise Lake Brienz
Truly unique guided kayaking tour on the beautiful Lake Brienz. Fit for explorers of all skill levels, this outing features the towering cliffs, forested hillsides, and calm waters that make Interlaken one of the most picturesque settings around.
The session lasts 3 hours of which we spent around 2 hours on the water.

What's included in Kayak Tour of the Turquoise Lake Brienz
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Our half day tours run regularly throughout the summer months and are suitable for all abilities. Our tours start in Bönigen on Lake Brienz where we travel across the River Lütschine, heading towards the north shore, exploring beautiful cliffs, the 12th century Ringgenberg castle and hidden beaches along the way. Your guide will offer instruction on how to develop your paddling skills and will also capture your experience with lots of photos to show to your friends and family back home. Evening Tours: The evening is a special time of the day where the lake calms down again and the sun starts to set. There's always a special calming atmosphere in the evening, perfect for photos and a relaxing way to end the day. The evening tour follows the same itinerary as the half day tour above. The session lasts 3 hours, of which we spend around 2 hours on the water. Our summer tours run from May until October. When the water temperature gets colder we start our winter tours (with drysuits) in October/November. If the dates or times you require are not available, please get in touch and we can see if they would be possible.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Check-in is 5 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
- Children 11 and younger are not allowed.
- You do not need previous kayaking experience, but you must be able to handle a kayak on your own.
- If you have back, neck, lower back, joint or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether or not to participate.
- You should bring swimsuit, change of clothes, waterproof footwear, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, a bottle of water, and snacks.

- Public Transport: • Bus 103 from Interlaken West and Ost to Bönigen See (direction Iseltwald). Departs every 30 minutes. Walking: • It’s a beautiful 35 minute walk along the river and the lake to our base from Interlaken Ost. Follow the river and walk around the lake to Bönigen.
