You will meet your guide at Shinjuku Station and ride the train together: you will reach Kamakura with the popular Enoden train line along the coast, with a day pass that you will be able to use again after the end of the tour!
You will visit Hase-dera , also known as the temple of flowers: here you will explore a gorgeous garden, caves, Buddhist halls and a panoramic terrace on the bay.
You will then move on to the city symbol, the Great Buddha of the Kotoku-in Temple: you will remain speechless standing in front of this majestic statue and will have enough time to behold all its details!
Finally, you will ride the Enoden once again to reach Kamakura station and walk along the lively Komachi Street up to Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu, where the deity of war is enshrined: here you will understand the importance of the samurai government for Kamakura's history.
The tour will end by this shrine and you will be free to spend the afternoon around Kamakura or choose one of the options.
