Discover Melbourne’s best living art galleries on Fit City Tour’s Laneways Discovery Running Tour. This small group tour explores Melbourne’s rich history, guiding runners through Melbourne’s famous laneways to visit some of the city’s most impressive landmarks. Along the way, your Melbourne city tour guide will share the story behind each building and alleyway.
During our tour, we’ll explore what makes each laneway unique. Along Bank Place, we’ll check out Melbourne’s oldest pub, Mitre Tavern, while taking in the beauty of buildings built from proceeds of the 1850’s gold rush. About half way through our tour, we'll stop off at one of Melbourne's best donut stops refuel and hydrate before continuing on our laneway journey. The tour will pass The State Library, Australia's oldest public library and one of the world’s first free libraries.
