Introduction to the day and a brief overview of shoe-making. 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Workshop tour, observing artisans at work and learning about the vibrant local textiles used. 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Hands-on shoe-making, selecting materials and beginning your custom design under the guidance of skilled artisans. 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch break with a traditional Guatemalan meal. 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Continue crafting your shoes, adding details, and stitching with artisans' assistance. 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Final touches and quality check to ensure your pair is ready. 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Farewell with completed shoes, photos, and an opportunity to shop for additional handmade items.
