Itinerary

Haga Nygata

Haga is a city district in Gothenburg, Sweden, renowned for its picturesque wooden houses, 19th century-atmosphere and cafés. Originally a working class suburb of the city with a rather bad reputation, it was gradually transformed into a popular visiting place for tourists and Gothenburgers.

Kungsportsavenyen, commonly known as Avenyn, stretches from the bridge Kungsportsbron by the canal to Götaplatsen and the Museum of Art, the City Theatre and the Concert Hall. The main boulevard is busy all day until late.

Gothenburg

Gothenburg Cathedral is located in the center of the Swedish city of Gothenburg. It is the third cathedral on the same site. The first one was consecrated in 1633 in honor of King Gustav II Adolf, who died a year earlier in the Battle of Lützen. It is the Episcopal Church of the Diocese of Gothenburg.
