Gallery Doria Pamfilij is one of the world’s major private collections. It was started in the 17th century by Pope Innocent X Pamphilj, continued by his descendants. It houses the Galleria Doria Pamphilj, an incredibly opulent and valuable art collection housed in the private home of the Doria Pamphilj dynasty, a series of statesmen and powerful aristocrats.

Most of the works are still hanging in the places selected by the original collectors; many are famous masterpieces.
