Swiss Alps
First, we drive with the minivan to the starting point of our unique hike. Our main destination is the breathtaking Göscheneralpsee trail, where we traverse lush meadows, serene forests, and a stunning glacial lake. Since weather conditions can be unpredictable, we remain flexible and may opt for an alternative hike, such as the panoramic Rigi Scheidegg trail, featuring rolling hills, distant peaks, and potential wildlife sightings. Our priority is always choosing the best option for the day. Regardless of the chosen route, each hike unfolds as a picturesque adventure, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable landscapes throughout the approximately 4-hour trek. Enjoy the diversity of experiences as you traverse these stunning locations, each with its own unique charm and allure.
Lake Lucerne
After the hike, if the weather is good, we will go to a unique swimming place at the lake to relax for a few hours and possibly take a dip in the lake. On the days we do the Göschneralpsee hike, we'll head to a swimming place in Flüelen Gruonbach, while on the days we do the Rigi Scheidegg hike, we'll visit a small charming beach in Vitznau. In bad weather, we'll make a stop at a bistro. On the way to the lake, we may also stop at a supermarket if necessary. At the lake, there is also the option of grilling. Wood and the like I always have with me in the minivan. This plan ensures we have a delightful and flexible outing regardless of the weather conditions.
