This adventure on Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges is a unique experience, full of emotions and guaranteed fun, suitable for everyone: adults, children, experienced hikers and occasional adventurers. Along the way an expert guide will share stories and legends of the Etna countries and the volcano. The hike begins with a stop at the refuge at 1500 meters, where the guide will provide a brief briefing before starting the trek. During the adventure you will visit the area of the October 27, 2002, eruption, explore undergrowth trails and reach the side craters with breathtaking views. After the trek, you will visit a lava flow tunnel to learn about its formation and history. At the end of the excursion there is a lunch break at the Chalet Clan dei Ragazzi at 1500 meters, with a choice of menus for 10 or 15 euros. Next you will explore the Alcantara Gorges, famous for their striking basalt formations created by river erosion. A unique landscape in the world!

Monti Sartorius
Our adventure begins with the famous eruption of October 27, 2002, which devastated the ski resorts of Piano Provenzana and a good part of the Pineta Ragabo. We will walk along paths immersed in the undergrowth among pines, birches and ancient lava flows, until we reach the side craters, where a unique and spectacular scenery awaits you. After the trek we will head to the Grotta dei Ladroni, a suggestive lava flow tunnel. Helmets and torches in hand, we will delve inside to explore its fascinating history and geological formation.
After the excursion, we will stop for lunch at the Chalet Clan dei Ragazzi, at an altitude of 1500 meters. You can choose between two delicious menu options: Light Menu (€10): a sandwich of your choice, a drink (water, Coca-Cola, wine or beer) and a dessert. Full Menu (€15): a bruschetta, a first course of your choice, a drink and a coffee.
