Our Favourites

The Blue Mountains National Park constitutes one of the seven national parks that form the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The extraordinary realm of sandstone formations, deep gorges, and misty blue eucalyptus woodlands present lavish getaways and breathtaking panoramas. Your guide for the day will lead you on an unconventional route to explore remote lookout spots, delving into the area's history, plant life, and wildlife.

Departure from the hotel is scheduled between 7:00 and 7:30 AM with your first stop at Calmsley Hill, a fully-functioning farm that also shelters Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats, and Koalas. Here you'll enjoy morning tea and have time to take a leisurely stroll through the farm at your own pace.

Advancing from Calmsley Hill, we ascend the Blue Mountains via the main road. We will visit a selection of remarkable vantage points overlooking the Jamison Valley, offering splendid vistas. Whenever possible, these locations will be distant from the throngs of tourists that flock to the mountains daily with other tour operators. This approach ensures that our guests relish a serene and unrushed atmosphere as they absorb the scenery and insights shared by their guide.

Continuing onward, we reach Eaglehawk Lookout, a secluded observation point that provides views of the renowned Three Sisters away from the bustling crowds. Despite the Blue Mountains' array of attractions, the undeniable allure of this remarkable rock formation commands admiration. The Three Sisters' characteristics shift throughout the day and across seasons as sunlight accentuates their magnificent hues. At this juncture, your guide will delve into the legends enveloping this iconic rock formation, granting you time to capture some impressive photographs.

Our route then circles the mountain towards the village of Blackheath and the Hydro Majestic, our lunch venue. In this laid-back setting with captivating views, a two-course lunch (food only) awaits. Dietary requirements are accommodated (excluding Kosher Meals), while beverages can be obtained at your own cost from the bar.

The ensuing afternoon is allocated to visiting a variety of lookout points. Once you lay eyes on the panorama from Govetts Leap, its reputation as one of Australia's most renowned viewpoints will become evident. The breathtaking waterfall plunges a staggering 180 meters to the cliff's base, and the lookout affords sweeping vistas down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. We then take a brief pause to savor a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at the charming Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, our final stop. Here, we relish sweeping views extending to Sydney before embarking on the Bells Line of Road, passing through its fruit orchard region. Anticipate a return to your hotel around 4:30 to 5:00 PM.
