Pompeii Archaeological Park
Pompeii (/pɒmˈpeɪi/) was an ancient Roman city near modern Naples in the Campania region of Italy, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area (e.g. at Boscoreale, Stabiae), was buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Many of the inhabitants were also buried before they could escape. The drive from Rome to Pompeii is 3 hours.
Positano
Positano is the best-known town on the Amalfi Coast, its postcard scenery, with the pyramid of colored houses that descends towards the sea, is known all over the world. A seductive place like the sirens who, according to legend, lived on the rocks of Li Galli, the small islands facing Positano. 1 hour drive from Pompeii to Positano.
Amalfi Coast
Continuing along the Amalfi coast, on the way back to Rome you will admire the most famous cities with their unique sceneries: the sea with its colors, the coast, the roads that surround the mountains are some of the wonders that you can admire. 3 hours drive to arrive in Rome (no stopping in Amalfi city)
