Today, you will be picked up at your hotel to explore the largest city in the country. Your tour begins with a walk through the former business district in Yangon where you can admire many of the remaining colonial buildings. Stroll past lots of deliciously smelling food stalls and get a glimpse of the variety of Burmese cuisine. Quickly you will notice the multicultural influences, which are reflected not only in the architecture but also in several dishes. After your walk, you visit the so-called "Secretariat", former administrative center while Myanmar was under British rule.
After a tour, drive to Bogyoke Aung San Market. The market offers a variety of local souvenirs, jewelry and more and is especially very popular among locals.
In the afternoon, visit the reclining Buddha Chauk Htet Gyi, a significant place for Buddhists.
