Iconic landmarks, stories of a bygone era and narrow lanes - welcome to our Copenhagen Old Town Private Walking Tour! From the Copenhagen City Hall to the Round Tower to the Grey Friars Square - feel the history in the air!
Enjoy your private tour with a guide in the language of your choosing.
Rådhuspladsen translates to City Hall Square. The square is a hot spot for concerts, outdoor exhibitions, celebrations of returning sports heroes, and even political activities. Next to Rådhuspladsen, we find Tivoli and Strøget, the main pedestrian street.
Gammeltorv is, in English, known as the “Old Square.” As the name indicates, it is the oldest square in Copenhagen, functioning as a marketplace already in the 1100s.
On the opposite side of Gammeltorv, we find Nytorv, “New Square.” A great example of Danish invention skills! It was at Nytorv that the butchers carried out their work, as sales took place at Gammeltorv.
