This beer-centric tour introduces you to one of Colombia’s stranger traditions, the sport of Tejo. Toss metal disks at gunpowder-filled satchels and watch them explode as you and your teammates polish off a crate of beer together. Then, follow it up with a visit to two local pubs, where you’ll have the chance to sample some of Colombia’s more unique artisanal brews and learn how to pick out their distinct flavors and brewing methods.
This is the most famous Tejo place in town, so getting a court can be quite a challenge, but this is a skip the line tour, so have fun with your friends doing "moñonas" while sampling some craft beers.
Bogota Beer Company is the largest small brewery in Colombia and the pioneers in the craft beer culture of the city, so in this tour we will tell their story since they started until now to be one of the big ones in the country while tasting the great beers that have been mastering over time.
One can tell the story of a country through its beers, so this will be the place to get to know the craft beer created by former FARC combatants and understand a little better the Colombian armed conflict.
