Bethesda Fountain & Terrace Fun Fact: The Angel of the Waters statue was unveiled in 1873 and symbolizes healing — it was the first public art commission in NYC to feature a woman. What Travelers Love: Taking stunning photos under the grand arches, listening to musicians playing under the terrace, and enjoying the lake view where rowboats gently glide by. Many even reenact movie scenes filmed here (Gossip Girl, Avengers, John Wick).
Sheep Meadow
Friends Fountain – Stop by the exact fountain that inspired the opening scene of the famous Friends TV show — a must-see for fans and a fun photo moment.
