Mutianyu Great Wall
Your English - speaking guide and private car will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel bright and early. Since pandas are most active in the morning, our first stop will be the Panda House located in the western part of the city. The giant panda is the rarest member of the bear family and is among the world's most endangered animals. Listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union's (IUCN's) Red List of Threatened Species, there are only about 1,600 giant pandas left in the world, and you'll have the wonderful opportunity to observe some of them here. After the panda visit, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch, which will take around 40 minutes. Subsequently, we'll be making our way to the Great Wall at the Mutianyu section. The journey will take approximately one and a half hours. During the drive, the guide will share interesting stories related to the Great Wall.
Upon arriving at the Mutianyu Great Wall, you have the option to take either the cable car or the ropeway to reach the wall, which saves both time and energy. Once on the Great Wall, the guide will accompany you to explore, and there will also be free - time for you to discover it on your own. The Mutianyu Great Wall is renowned for its stunning scenery. Surrounded by dense forests and lush pastures that change colors with the seasons, it offers a magnificent view. Built mainly with granite, this section of the Great Wall has its own unique charm. After exploring the wall, you can choose to take the cable car, ropeway, or even the toboggan for an exciting descent. Finally, after the Great Wall exploration, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
