A mere half-hour stroll from Bandipur town leads to an immersive experience in a traditional Nepalese village, where one can witness the authentic lifestyle of Nepal. Amidst lush fields, locals engage in agricultural activities such as planting seasonal crops and harvesting, while others tend to their livestock, grazing goats, cows, and buffaloes, or plow fields with oxen. The vibrant community can be seen carrying heavy loads from the jungle or crafting bamboo baskets. Engaging with locals, including children, offers a glimpse into daily life, and with permission, visitors can explore local schools to learn about the Nepalese education system. Delving deeper, purchasing lunch or beverages from a local household provides an opportunity to venture inside and gain insight into traditional Nepalese living arrangements, adding a layer of cultural immersion to the experience.
Pickup included
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and walk to Ramkot (a typical Magar village). The trail passes through the local village where you will encounter with people working in the field, grazing goat and cow, carrying a load in their back from jungle etc. You can explore a seasonal crop, talk to children and their parents, visit local school and learn about Nepal culture and tradition.
After visiting Ramkot village walk down to Seratar and walk back to Bandipur. ON the way you will meet different ethnic group people, the farm land, bee keeping, silk farm etc.
