Morning: Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) Start early to experience the serene atmosphere and the changing colors of the temple as the day progresses. Take a walk around the sarovar (holy tank) and witness the rituals. If possible, have the langar (free community meal) at the temple, which is a unique experience.
Late Morning: Jallianwala Bagh It's located very close to the Golden Temple, so you can visit right after. Spend some time at the memorial, reflecting on the tragic history associated with it. There's a museum inside that provides more context to the events of 1919.
Lunch Break: You can have lunch at one of the local restaurants near the Golden Temple or Jallianwala Bagh. Traditional Punjabi food is highly recommended!
Afternoon: Mata Lal Devi Temple This temple is known for its unique blend of Hindu and Sikh architectural styles and is dedicated to the female saint Lal Devi. Spend around an hour exploring the temple and understanding its significance.
