City Palace of Jaipur

The City Palace in Jaipur is a magnificent historical complex located in the heart of the city. It was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The palace showcases a beautiful blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. It houses several impressive buildings, courtyards, and museums, including the Mubarak Mahal and Chandra Mahal. Part of the palace is still the residence of the royal family, while the rest is open to visitors.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur

Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest astronomical observatories in the world. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the early 18th century. The site features a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments made of stone and brass. These instruments were used to measure time, predict eclipses, and study celestial bodies. The most famous instrument here is the Samrat Yantra, a giant sundial.
