Signal Hill
Signal Hill is a huge land mass near the heart of the Otago Harbour. It is home to the Signal Hill Lookout, offering stunning views just a short drive from the centre city. This is the perfect place to survey Dunedin for the first time.
Baldwin Street - World's Steepest Street!
In the 19th century, British surveyor Charles Kettle superimposed an orderly grid that had worked well on relatively flat terrain on a towering hillside in New Zealand. Thanks to Kettle’s misguided efforts, a residential street in Dunedin known as Baldwin Street has a 19-degree slope. Guinness World Records determined that Baldwin Street’s nearly 35-degree gradient is the steepest street in the world.
University of Otago
Otago University was established in 1874 and is the oldest of the New Zealand universities. The Clock Tower is a distinguished piece of architecture dating from 1878 and features an early use of local basalt stone on a dramatic and large scale, emphasising the value placed in Otago on higher learning. Although the interior has been largely altered, its exterior remains mostly unchanged and along with the Chemistry Building, the School of Mines and Marama and Allen Halls, forms part of an outstanding group of well related buildings which was erected in the period of Dunedin's pre-eminence and prosperity.

Spend approximately 1 to 1.5 hours exploring the beautiful gardens at Larnach Castle, taking in the stunning views, and enjoying a snack or drink at the café. You'll also have the chance to learn about the fascinating and dramatic story of William Larnach and his family. Please note that this tour includes entry to the gardens only. Port Chalmers (Pass-by Only)
Finishing the visit at Albatross Center, then directly drive back to Dunedin city and Port chamers, On the return journey, enjoy the coastal drive along the Otago Peninsula, where you’ll spot various seabirds and pass by charming local villages before heading back to your cruise ship. off spot are at Octagan and Port chalmers only.

On the day of the tour, your driver-guide will be waiting for you at Port Chalmers terminal, holding a whiteboard with your name on it for easy identification. Additionally, we guarantee that all cruise passengers will be safely returned to the Port Chalmers terminal before the port's stipulated return time. Rest assured, your schedule is in reliable hands.
