Just under the High Line and just north of the Meatpacking District, Manhattan's historic West Chelsea arts district has been a major art-world hot-spot for decades, featuring some of the world's most important art galleries. But, where to start? This tour takes visitors to a curated selection of six galleries, highlighting some of the best contemporary art on view in the city. For each exhibit, I provide information and context, and facilitate a brief, casual discussion about the art. People who have taken the tour tell me it's a great, accessible way to learn about art.

We will go to six galleries in the historic West Chelsea arts district. All six galleries will be between 18th Street and 27th Street, between 9th Avenue and 11th Avenue.
