Unlike rigid public shuttle schedules, your private driver waits for you—allowing time to session features, take photos, and ride at your own pace. You'll benefit from expert trail recommendations tailored to your ability level, with strategic run planning to experience the park's best offerings across its diverse range of trails (21% Grade 3, 52% Grade 4, 23% Grade 5, and 4% Grade 6). - Your Private Shuttle Vehicle can collect you from your hotel, the airport or our shop and transfer you and your MTB to the Wairoa Gorge for a full day of MTB shuttles before returning to Nelson
- You will need a good mountain bike in working order
- You will need your personal cycling clothing and protective equipment
- Service animals allowed
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
The Wairoa Gorge is a one hour drive from Nelson, we can meet you at our centrally located shop or pick you up from the airport or your hotel.
Meeting / End Points
- If we are meeting you at the Wairoa Gorge Bike Park make sure you allow at least one hour to drive there and look for the small black signs from the Brightwater turn off. Drive to the last carpark before the deep river crossing and we will meet you there.
