With a walk between the historic districts of Stampace and Marina, we will see the Tunnel–Shelter of the Salesian School, a 120 mt long private tunnel used during World War II as a shelter for the school's students from the bombings. Today, the tunnel almost looks like a mystic place with its red-bricked arcades, enlightened by soft candlelight. We will continue the tour to explore the magnificent crypt of Saint Restituta, with its fascinating stories, and we will finish with a visit to the Archeological Area of Saint Eulalia to discover its amazing underground ruins.
The tour involves a short walk from site to site outside.
Accordingly to the opening times of the sites, there might be alternative underground sites to visit.
