DAY 1: CUSCO-AYAPATA We will pick you up around 4:30 from your hotel then we will move to Km 82, arriving around 08:00 am, here we will meet our team of porters/cookers and after a delicious breakfast, we will go to the checkpoint to register and start our hiking along the Inca trail. During the 2 hour walk to reach Patallacta we will see the Inca lifestyle and we will appreciate a beautiful panoramic view, after a little break we will resume our walk from Patallaqta to Hatunchaca which is located in the hearth of the Inca trail, in this place we will enjoy a lunch made by our cookers,then we will continue walking for another 2 hours until we reach our first camp site in Ayapata to enjoy the panoramic views, hot drinks, snacks and having dinner at night
DAY 2: AYAPATA - CHAQUICOCHA When we get up with a hot cup of coffee or coca tea to start the longest and most difficult day of our trip, we will walk approximately 4 hours to the highest point of the Dead Woman's Pass (4215 m / 13828 ft), after reaching the summit we will continue to the Pacaymayu Valley, where we will have a delicious lunch, after a deserved rest we will continue our uphill walk where we will visit RuncuRaccay and Sayacmarca, we will continue for another 20 minutes to reach our second camp in Chaquicocha (Dry Lake), We will have a beautiful sunset in the Vilcambamba mountain range, after dinner if you are not too tired we can see the beautiful constellations of ancient times.
DAY 3: CHAQUICCOCHA - WIÑAYWAYNA After getting up and having our breakfast, we will start the easiest trek of the trip, we will go through different climates from the cold of the Andes to the warm cloud forest, we will have beautiful panoramic views and of the impressive snow mountain of Salcatay, until arriving until Phuyupatamarka, where we can appreciate the spectacular Urubamba river and the Machu Picchu mountain, we will continue until our last camp in Wiñay Wayna (eternally Young), place where we will have lunch and rest.
