The experience allows you to reach an altitude of 2500m and to admire from close the summit craters and the Bove valley on its highest and most panoramic point. there is also the option with 4X4 bus up to an altitude of 2800m with an easy walk at altitude (recommended for those who do not want to or are unable to walk for two hours)

We begin by passing through the seafront of Catania, from where we can see the stacks of Acitrezza
Once you reach the Sapienza Refuge (1900m) you will reach 2500m with the cable car. A walk of about an hour is therefore planned (easy level), with a privileged view of the summit craters, and the achievement of a spectacular view of the majestic Valle del Bove Volcanic Caldera. During the journey, cold spots (glaciers covered by volcanic sand) and hot spots (manifestations of the cooling of the 2002 eruptive fracture) will be visible and palpable.
Inclusions
- Helmets and torches for visiting the lava tube
- tennis shoes or closed shoes in general are sufficient, but the rental of hiking boots is available at the cable car station
- Waterproof jackets on request
- Air-conditioned vehicle
- Tickets required by 'Funivia dell'Etna' for cable car (50 euros per adult -30 children 5/12 years)
- Lunch, snacks or water are not included , you can bring them with you or buy them on site.

- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
