We'll explore the 5th kingdom and learn about the interconnectedness of funghi in nature while exploring the hazelnut groves followed by a mushroom cooking class, using locally cultivated mushrooms. Learn techniques for cleaning, preparing and cooking mushrooms. We will make risotto and discuss the rich history of risotto cultivation in Northern Italy and learn a dish that easy to make at home. Recipes can be modified for dietary options and dietary restrictions.

We will make a classic risotto and add a variety of sautéed mushrooms. We will get creative and adapt the recipes to suit your taste preferences.
Using portobello mushrooms we will stuff them with Spinach and cheese and we will adapt these recipes to suit your taste preferences
We will taste a locally produced hazelnut cake with an opportunity to purchase cakes from the local baker
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
We can pick you from the local train station which is called Villafranca Cantarana, a 40 minute train from Torino.
