The area of 4,000 m2 represents the development of hop cultivation from the early Middle Ages to the present day. In addition to the museum's interesting collections, you will get to know your own object, which is a technical monument and an example of industrial functional architecture from the late 19th century in the city known for the best hops in the world. You will learn why the best hops in the world are harvested in the Žatec region and why they have had to protect themselves from quality defects since the Middle Ages.
