Take this awesome day trip to explore these deep underground Glow-Worms caves & stunning delicate cave formations. Leaving the Port, we travel through New Zealand's hinterland, our best farmland, horse studs, & hydro dam - plenty to see on this trip! As you descend into this world-famous cave (guided tour) you can only marvel at the thousands of tiny glow worms and the wondrous display as your boat ride glides silently along the subterranean river. In the dark of the cave, their radiant luminescent lights give the impression of an amazingly clear night sky full of stars. On our return journey we stop at the "The Shires Rest" cafe, Hobbiton for lunch. We call at McLaren’s Falls park to see more of New Zealand’s nature and beauty. Waitomo Glowworm Caves
Want to do something different? … Deep underground in the heart of the Waikato is a series of unique caves that will take your breath away. Take this awesome day trip to see the amazing Waitomo Glow-Worm Caves, descending into the world-famous caves enjoy the world famous boat ride as you marvel at the thousands of tiny glow worms and the wondrous display as they radiate their luminescent lights. On the return journey, we stop at the rural township of Otorohonga to view our iconic national bird, the Kiwi at the Otorohanga Kiwi and Native bird sanctuary.
