- Attractions -

・Jiufen Old Street

The most impressive part of Jiufen is probably its old street area, which has appeared in many film and television works. The red lanterns hanging high on both sides of the street illuminate the ancient stairs, making the entire Jiufen mountain city filled with a traditional and romantic atmosphere.

・Yin Yang Sea

The name comes from the fact that the seawater at the estuary is yellow-brown due to natural minerals, which forms a sharp contrast with the blue seawater outside. The traffic lights standing on Binhai Road and the intersection facing the sea are more like the classic scenes in the anime "Slam Dunk", so it is also called "Little Kamakura".

・Elephant Trunk Rock in Shen’ao

Located at the Shen'ao Cape, the Elephant Trunk Rock is named after the shape of an elephant in the sea after thousands of years of sea erosion. To get to the Elephant Trunk Rock, you will have to pass through some gravel roads and uneven rocky shores, so it is recommended to wear shoes that are comfortable for walking.

・Badouzi Station

Badouzi Station was officially opened at the end of 2016. It is located next to the coastal highway and is also known as the station closest to the coastline in Taiwan. Standing on the platform, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea and sky. The geographical location and scenery facing the sea and backed by the mountains also make the Badouzi platform known as the "Duoliang Station of Northern Taiwan."

・Chaojing Park

Chaojing Park is located on the east side of Badouzi Peninsula. It is a vast grassland facing the sea. The surrounding scenery is vast and broad. Jiufen and Keelung Mountain can be seen from afar. It is one of the popular attractions in the northeast corner. There are many installation arts in the park, such as the recently popular "flying broom", which attracts many tourists.

・Masahama Fishing Port

Keelung Zhengbin Fishing Port was originally just a quiet fishing village. After the houses beside the port were given colorful exteriors, the blue sky and white clouds coupled with the colorful small port attracted many tourists to make a pilgrimage.

・Mysterious Coast of Mizuo Fishing Port

The Mysterious Coast is located in the Shitoushan Park in Jinshan. The most common way to get there is from Shuiwei Fishing Port. After passing through the sea cave, you can see the coastline of the Mysterious Coast reef area. Along the strange rocks formed by the waves, you can walk all the way to the Jiezi Pavilion Observation Deck and overlook the deserted beach and the endless East China Sea below from a high place.

・Keelung Temple Entrance

The snacks in Keelung Miaokou can be traced back to the Japanese colonial era. Keelung Miaokou got its name because it is located in front of the "Dianji Temple", commonly known as the "Shengwang Temple". Miaokou has many famous snacks, such as bubble ice, Dingbian file, nutritious sandwiches, oyster omelette, shrimp soup, bean skewer soup, tempura, etc. When you come to Keelung, you must come to Miaokou to taste these famous delicacies.

・Repulse Bay Seaside Park

Repulse Bay is located on the Tamsui-Jinhua Highway in Sanzhi District, about half an hour's drive from Tamsui. Its coastline is in the shape of a bay, with both rocky shores and sandy bays. There are convenient scenic trails and observation decks along the beach, and there are many specialty cafes around it. It is a great place to view the sea in Taipei.

・Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf

Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is located on the right bank of the Tamsui River estuary and is one of Taipei's most popular spots for sunset and night views. Fisherman's Wharf has a wide harbor park and a pedestrian boat-shaped bridge across the harbor. In addition, there are many shops and restaurants around it, where you can enjoy the leisurely fishing port atmosphere.
