Piazza del Municipio (formerly Largo del Castello) is a square in Naples, one of the largest in Europe and one of the most important in the city thanks to the proximity of the Maschio Angioino and the presence of the port on site.
Castel Nuovo, or more commonly Maschio Angioino (also Mastio Angioino), is a historic medieval and Renaissance castle, as well as one of the symbols of the city of Naples. The castle dominates the scenic Piazza Municipio.
Piazza Trieste e Trento (formerly Piazza San Ferdinando) is located in the historic center of Naples. A road junction of great importance, via Toledo, via Chiaia and via San Carlo converge here; it is also the main access point to the nearby, and much more famous, Piazza del Plebiscito.
