STARGAZING DUNES - SELF DRIVE
Duration: 2 hours: The observation will be from 1.5-2hrs
HOW TO GET THERE: YOU NEED YOUR OWN CAR. You drive yourself from MEETING POINT. We meet as a group and then drive TO OBSERVATION POINT.
MEETING POINT TO OBSERVATION: DRIVE YOURSELF - To get to the observation point YOU NEED A CAR. You cannot walk through the dunes or get a taxi.

(Subject to Option Inclusions)Stargazing! Journey beneath a blanket of stars in the enchanting Corralejo Dunes! Unveil the beauty and complexity of the night sky on a stargazing adventure lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. Your expert Star Guide will lead you on a captivating exploration, using telescopes and laser pointers to enhance your view of stars, planets, and celestial wonders. Imagine yourself nestled on a rug or blanket in the heart of the dunes, listening to the calming sound of the ocean waves as you gaze upwards. This unforgettable experience is just a short 5-minute walk from the main area, offering a unique opportunity to connect with nature's magic. Please note: If you have any mobility concerns, we recommend our Los Molinos Observation location for easier access.

- We do not collect from south of the island: Costa Calma, Jandia, Sotavento etc
- We do not collect from Caleta areas nor Puerto Rosario for this observation
- We do not collect from El Cotillo, Lajares or Majanicho
- Service animals allowed
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Not recommended for people with mobility issues. We DO walk on the loose sands of the Dunes for 5 mins.
Meet
Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 20 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
We collect within a 5km radius of Corralejo. Meet times vary seasonally, 1 hour after sunset. You may see 18:00 or 21:00 listed; these are APPROXIMATE only. Your actual pickup time will be confirmed by email/message the night before and will fall within these seasonal windows: Summer: Expect pickup between 20:30 - 22:00 Winter: Expect pickup between 17:00 - 20:00. The Star Guide will only contact you by phone if there's a weather issue. Please confirm your contact number.
Meeting / End Points
- YOU CANNOT WALK OR TAXI FROM MEETING POINT TO OBSERVATION POINT 1. Meet at the main roundabout of RIU Hotels on the OPPOSITE side to the Aloe Vera Shop. 2. We then Follow your Guide, IN YOUR CAR, 5 mins to the observation point. *PLEASE NOTE* If selected DRIVE YOURSELF option, you NEED a car.
