Scavi di Oplontis
The Excavations of Oplontis are located in the city of Torre Annunziata. Oplontis is one of the Vesuvius areas that were buried by the eruption of 79 AD. The archeological digs in this area are referable to a peripheral urban centre under the jurisdiction of Pompeii.
Villa San Marco
The Villas of St. Marco and Arianna at Stabiae: Two enormous villas of unprecedented size and luxury were first discovered here in 1749.
