Plitvice Lakes National Park
Plitvice are the world’s natural heritage that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. Inside the park, you can walk along the majestic string of sixteen cascaded lakes connected with beautiful waterfalls. Tour Guide for Plitvice Lakes is not included in the price of the tour and can be provided on client’s request.
The Upper Lakes
The Upper Lakes consist of 12 lakes that sit on a waterproof dolomite substrate formed in late Triassic Period.
The Lower Lakes
The Lower Lakes system is formed in the canyon that is constructed of permeable limestone. The highest rocks in the canyon are about 40 meters.
