A hands-on, fun and educational experience for all ages. Great for families. Learn about Bees and Bee Hives, then get sticky with this interactive, hands-on activity. Uncap, spin, filter and bottle your very own jar of fresh honey to take away with you.
Learn about beehives and bee behaviour, your beekeeper will explain why beehives are designed the way they are and how the colony builds the honeycomb, converts nectar into honey and how they seamlessly operate.
Then learn about uncapping your frame to expose the delicious honey, then your frame will be spun and watch as the honey is seperated from the frame, ready to be poured out the honey gate.
Then you get to filter your honey to remove any remaining beeswax and bottle your honey with your home made label.
