How to Get Around

San Francisco’s East Bay is a magnet for beer-drinking enthusiasts because, well, we make great beer. The area is also known for its multicultural diversity, creative artists and the origin of “California Cuisine.” Start your adventure at Oakland’s oldest bar, a waterfront saloon built from the remnants of an 1800s whaling vessel. There, the first round is on us! Once you’ve calibrated to the East Bay’s funky and deep-rooted vibes, your guide will take you on a walking tour to three excellent, local breweries. Each and every one has deep roots in the Bay Area, making this tour an authentic way to support and experience what the Easy Bay has to offer.

Original Pattern Brewing Company

Original Pattern Brewing Co. is an award-winning, employee-owned brewery and tasting room proudly located in Oakland, California. They have one of the largest NZ hop contracts on the west coast, which allows the brewery to frequently showcase a range of unique and hard to get New Zealand hops.
