The Silfra Fissure is the only place in the world where you can swim between continents! You can choose either to meet us at each tour location, or opt for the Reykjavík Transfer option and we will pick you up, drive you between sites, and drop you off.

- Minimum age is 12 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian booked on the same tour.
- It is recommended to bring warm outdoor clothing, packed lunch, thermal underwear, a change of clothing, towel, gloves, hat and good hiking shoes
- Wear glasses? Since you'll be wearing snorkeling goggles to see underwater there can be nothing in the way of the seal therefore you cannot wear glasses underneath the goggles.In this case, contact lenses or your own prescription goggles are recommended.
- Requirements: Weight limit: 45-120kg. Height limit: 150cm – 200cm. Must be able to swim.

- Pregnant women can unfortunately not participate in the snorkeling tour due to the risk of cold water entering the suit.
- Medical issues outlined in our handbook require doctors approval to join the tour. Some conditions mean guests cannot participate.

Meeting / End Points
- The first meeting point is Raufarholshellir Lava Tunnel for your 9:30 tour. Next, meet us in Thingvellir National Park for snorkeling at 13:30 (Sept 1-May 14) or 14:00 (May 15-August 31). Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Park at ''Thingvellir P5''.

MEET ON LOCATION: If you booked the tour as Meet-on-Location: • For the first meeting point, join us at ''Raufarholshellir Lava Tunnel'' for your 9:30 am tour. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Coordinates: 63°56'22.8"N 21°23'45.1"W • After your Lava Tunnel adventure, please drive to our second meeting location in Thingvellir National Park. Your guide will meet you at the ''Silfra Car Park'', a short walk from the public parking lot where you may leave your vehicle. Where to park: Type “Thingvellir Parking P5” into Google maps for directions on where you can park your car. Please note: parking fees apply. This is 400m away from where you will meet your guide. Please note the start time of your snorkelling tour: WINTER September 1- May 14: 1:30pm sharp SUMMER May 15-August 3: 2:00pm sharp *Please be in the Silfra car park at least 15 minutes before your tour starts. WITH REYKJAVÍK PICKUP & DROPOFF If you booked the tour from Reykjavík: • Black and Blue is a combo of two tours. You'll start the day by going to The Lava Tunnel in the morning. Pick up starts at 8:00 am and can take up to 30 minutes. • After lava caving we head back to Reykjavík where you'll then be dropped off at a bakery for some early lunch (Bakarameistarinn in Holtagarðar). For the Snorkeling portion of the tour, you'll be picked up again from the bakery at 12:00pm (Sept 1-May 14) or 12:30 (May 15- August 31) • Please note that we only serve the pick-up locations specified in our pick-up list.
