Food Stop 1: Experience life as a Trinidadian with a stop by a street food vendor to eat our popular doubles! This is Trinidad & Tobago's most popular street food, which is made up of fried bread, chickpeas and spicy sauces. Delicious! You'll also be enjoying a freshly made spicy fried pastry stuffed with a choice of delicious fillings!
Queen's Park Savannah
You'll be visiting a popular farmers' market in the uptown part of Port of Spain at the Queen's Park Savannah. Here, you'll have some refreshingly chilled, freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, as well as some local sweet snacks as you walk through the market. You'll also have the option to purchase many homemade products, including teas, coffee, handicrafts, and so on, all made by local artisans.
Tunapuna Market
Your fun market morning continues with a drive to the Tunapuna Market. Tunapuna is a bustling little town outside of Port of Spain. Your senses will be enjoying the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes! Besides experiencing the hustle and bustle of a Caribbean market, you'll also be enjoying some Trini-Indian sweets treats like khurma and jalebi. A market is the soul of a region, and this one certainly has soul!
