Step inside a prison cell and get a feel for what life was like during that infamous era. Return to San Francisco at your own pace; ferry boats return every 30-40 minutes.

- Exchange your voucher at the Big Bus Visitors Center (Fisherman's Wharf, 99 Jefferson St) at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled Alcatraz date to be informed of your Alcatraz departure time. Muir Woods Tours depart at 8:30am and 1:30pm.

PLEASE NOTE: This voucher is not your Alcatraz ticket. Muir Woods Tours and Alcatraz Tours must be taken on two separate dates. Before your travel date, please email the full names of all guests to [email protected]. For guests under age 18, please provide exact age as well. Exchange your voucher at the Big Bus Visitors Center (Fisherman's Wharf, 99 Jefferson St) at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled Alcatraz date to be informed of your Alcatraz departure time. Muir Woods Tours depart at 8:30am and 1:30pm. Alternatively, you may exchange your voucher for an actual ticket on the day of your tour between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM or the day before your tour between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
