Your day kicks off with a scenic drive from your hotel to Fumba, a charming village on Zanzibar’s southwest coast, located about 40 minutes from Stone Town. From there, you’ll embark on a boat trip to explore the surrounding waters and watch for dolphins. While swimming with them isn’t part of the experience. The adventure continues at a beautiful sandbank, where you’ll have plenty of time to snorkel in crystal-clear waters, discovering vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Around midday, you’ll head to Kwale Island to enjoy a barbecue lunch, followed by a variety of fresh, tropical fruits. After lunch, take time to unwind on the beach, hop on a traditional dhow for a short sail, or walk over to admire a centuries-old leaning baobab tree. Before heading back, take a dip in a warm, shallow lagoon for a final moment of relaxation. You’ll then sail back to Fumba, where your driver will be ready to return you to your hotel.

Your journey begins with a scenic boat cruise through the area, offering the chance to spot dolphins—a great moment for photography (please note: this tour does not include swimming with the dolphins). Next, you’ll visit a stunning sandbank, where you’ll have ample time to snorkel and explore the vibrant coral reefs. Around midday, the tour continues to Kwale Island, where you’ll enjoy a mouthwatering barbecue lunch, followed by a serving of fresh, seasonal Zanzibar fruits for dessert. Afterward, you can relax on the beach, take a ride on a traditional dhow, or walk to see the island’s ancient leaning baobab tree. Before heading back, enjoy a swim in a warm, crystal-clear lagoon. The day ends with a return sail to Fumba, where your transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
