This tour includes far more than Rome's flagship ancient stadium, since you will venture on with your guide to the Palatine Hill – the place where the city of Rome was first founded and also the location of the expansive palace complex that the Roman emperors called home. From the Palatine Hill you will admire unforgettable views of the Roman Forum before we analyse the city and learn about life in downtown Ancient Rome.

Colosseum

Palatine Hill
The most beautiful and important of Romes seven hills is the Palatine Hill. Discover the founding point of one of the greatest civilizations and explore the ancient ruins of the Imperial palace; let our guides unveil this spectacular archaeological site where the ruins, towering pine trees and spectacular views over the Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum give you an overview of the ancient city like no other. It's truly an incredible experience.
Foro Romano
The political, social, and commercial heart of downtown Rome is not to be missed! Walk the original roman roads (the via sacra and via nova) and weave between ornate arches, towering temples, and lots more! Although there is less than half of the forum complete today, let our guides do the work and fill in the blanks for you, helping you to build a picture of the empire at its peak.

- Please meet us in front the Arch of Constantine. Your guide will be holding a Yellow Carpe Diem Rome flag. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. Late arrivals will not be eligible for refunds. Please also ensure to check local Covid-19 regulations before attending.
End Points
- The tour may end inside of Colosseum depending on tickets where you will be left to either leave or spend more time exploring it.
- The tour will finish in the Roman Forum where you will be left to either leave or explore the Roman Forum more.

Our guide will be awaiting you at the Arch of Constantine located near the Colosseum holding a yellow flag with the Carpe Diem Rome logo Please remember to bring identification cards on the day of the experience. Customers accompanying children are required to demonstrate their parental or guardian status. Furthermore, we kindly request that customers bring identification for the children they are accompanying. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and welfare of all participants, particularly the minors involved. Please provide the full names of all travelers in your group, including yourself and any co-travelers while booking your experience.
