Ancient Kamiros
Start the tour along the scenic West coast route that will take you to the main highlight of the day - the ancient Kamiros, one of the best-preserved Classical Greek cities. Wander through its streets imagining what life in Rhodes must have been like in this ancient Doric settlement dating from the late bronze age until approx. 142 BC. You will gain insight from the tour guide into the city's main functions and learn why it was abandoned. Additional Entrance ticket - 6 EUR p.p.
Siana
Continue along the scenic West Coast, where you’ll admire picturesque shores while learning about the island’s rich culture and lifestyle. The journey passes through the quaint village of Siana, where you’ll stop to sample local products. Discover the secrets of olive oil production and taste the traditional Rhodian drink, souma.
Monolithos
Next, visit Monolithos village, offering some of the most breathtaking views on the island. From there, enjoy a relaxing stop at a local taverna for lunch or take free time for leisure.
