Dafnes Valley
Dafnes is one of four PDO appellations on the Greek island of Crete in the southern Aegean Sea. The designation covers red wines from the Liatiko grape variety. These may be more conventional dry reds or sweet wines made from sun-dried grapes.
Let your senses guide you through the wineries counting nearly 20-30 years of wine-making tradition. Wander around a vineyard and enjoy breathtaking views relaxing under the shade of the pergola at the vineyard house. This seasonal 6-hour guided wine tour includes a Winery Tour, wine tasting of 10 different wine labels, all from indigenous varieties & a visit to Kato Asites village for lunch, and true Cretan Cuisine.

Silva Daskalaki Winery

At Daskalakis Winery, the visitor has the opportunity to taste the wines of the winery in the tasting room and to see the areas where the wine is vinified and bottled. Our tasting program consists of tasting 5 indigenous varieties.
Diamantakis Winery
Diamantakis winery is a modern winery in Crete. It is located southwest part of Heraklion city in the heart of the Malevizi province, outside Kato Assites village. The Family's purpose is the production of high-quality wines with both respect and care towards the cultivation process. This is traditionally achieved by combining the unique microclimate of the area with the native varieties like Liatiko, Vidiano and Mandilaria. You will be having a tour of the winery and the vineyards. at the end of the tour, the host of the winery will start a tasting program of 5 indigenous varieties. Diamantakis Winery produces one of the best "Vidiano" varieties on the island of Crete
Kato Asites
We will enjoy a traditional meal at the top of the hills, overlooking the Valley all the way to Heraklion city and the Cretan sea. A four-course traditional meal in an award-winning local Tavern with great views and a great atmosphere.
