Itinerary

Bucharest

This captivating Bucharest excursion commences at the hotel. A warm welcome awaits you from our friendly driver just out in the hotel hall. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 30 minutes journey through the scenic beauty of Bucharest.

The Choral Temple

The Choral Temple is a synagogue located in Bucharest, Romania. Designed by Enderle and Freiwald and built between 1864 and 1866, it is a very close copy of Vienna's Leopoldstadt-Tempelgasse Great Synagogue, which had been built in 1855–1858.

Museum of History of the Jewish Community

The Jewish History Museum is housed in a colourful synagogue that dates from 1836 (rebuilt in 1910). Exhibits (in English and Romanian) outline Jewish contributions to Romanian history, which not all Romanians know about. In 1941, 800,000 Jews lived in Romania; today only 10,000 remain. You need your passport to enter.
