Take the private boat from Tien Pier to see local houses in Bangkok that you can't see in the city. Some houses along the canal are going to collapse but people still live inside.
Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks. Its majestic central prang, rising 67 meters high, is the tallest in the city and beautifully adorned with intricate porcelain details. Standing by the river, the temple offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere — a true masterpiece of Thai architecture that you shouldn’t miss.
Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, is one of the oldest and most important temples in Bangkok. Though its exact origins remain unclear, it is believed to have stood on this sacred ground for over 300 years — even before the founding of both Thonburi and Bangkok as capital cities. This temple is home to the most stunning Reclining Buddha in Thailand — an enormous statue measuring 46 meters long and 15 meters high, completely covered in gold leaf. Its serene expression and intricate mother-of-pearl inlays on the soles of its feet are truly mesmerizing. Beyond the statue, Wat Pho is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage and boasts beautiful architecture, peaceful courtyards, and one of the largest collections of Buddha images in the country. A visit to Wat Pho is not just sightseeing — it’s a journey into Thailand’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
