Sandy Bottoms Sailing offers personalized snorkeling, and island hopping tours to the off shore islands of Puerto Rico in our 47 ft, Beneteau Sailboat. Our tours are always private (max of 6 guests) and designed around you & your parties' desires. Snorkel, swim, relax on a float, sun bathe on the deck, sip cocktails on a white sandy beach!
Depending on ocean conditions, we visit Palomino, Lobos, and/or Icacos. We do not go to Culebra.
Our boat holds a maximum of six passengers so that we may provide you with the best service and experience. We are also one of the only companies offering open bar with a selection of tropical cocktails to sample and enjoy!
Our Captain has over 20 years of experience sailing, teaching, & racing in regattas around the world. We adapt our daily schedules around you and your desires to snorkel, sail, or just relax.
A large selection of appetizers & our full ship bar are included. Please feel free to bring additional food or beverages if you desire.

Fajardo
Sail to the offshore islands of Puerto Rico's Gorgeous East Coast!
Isla Palominos
Beautiful secluded beach with amazing snorkeling and swimming. Colorful fish and turtles love to visit with snorkelers. Palominos is also a great place to learn to paddle board or refine your skills.
Cayo Icacos
Uninhabited Island with snorkeling and a beautiful white sand beach.
Inclusions
- Morning pastries & coffee. Appetizers: Fruit & gourmet cheese platter, fresh local baked bread, selections of meats, fresh dips like guacamole and hummus, crackers, and various snacks & cookies.
- Brief Paddle Board and/or Snorkeling Instruction
- Soda/Pop
- Bottled water
- Use of Snorkelling equipment
- Fun floats and safety floats
- Local beer and premium rum. Our Ships bar also includes vodka, tequila and white wine. We also stock an assortment of drink mixers, organic juices, and sodas.
- Coffee and/or Tea
- Paddle Boards (we have two paddle board on the boat)
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Children under 4 are not allowed for their own safety. The ever changing ocean conditions & our boat size are factors
- Pregnant woman are not allowed because of the ocean conditions and the distance to a nearby hospital. You and your baby's safety are our top priority.

- We are located inside the largest Marina in the Caribbean, Puerto del Rey, located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. We are about one hour from San Juan.
