About the experience: This is a clay shooting experience using an over-under shotgun. Clay pigeon shooting is a sport where participants use shotguns to shoot at flying targets, known as "clays". These targets are typically disc-shaped objects made of pitch and clay or similar materials, designed to shatter when hit. The clays are launched into the air by a machine called a trap, simulating the flight patterns of birds. It’s both a competitive sport and a recreational activity. Shooters aim to break the clays mid-flight, requiring skill in timing, aim, and handling firearms. The sport has several variations, including: • Skeet Shooting: Shooters move through a semicircle of stations, firing at clays launched from two fixed points (a high and low trap) in predictable patterns. • Trap Shooting: Targets are launched away from the shooter at varying angles from a single trap, testing accuracy and adaptability. • Sporting Clays: This involves a course with multiple stations, each offering unique target trajectories to mimic real hunting scenarios. *Important note: Display photos shows Paphos and Limassol clubs.
