Enjoy an excursion out of the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to visit a local garden home in the outskirts of Bangkok. Your host will pick you up at a BTS station and then drive you 45 minutes to her family weekend home, a peaceful place surrounded by their verdant garden. Your host will give you a lesson on Thai herbs and spices and then you'll get to work in the kitchen, grinding, chopping and sauteing your way to a delicious Thai meal.
This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Soon after you arrive at Pink’s beautiful garden home in Samut Sakhorn province, you’ll be in her garden picking Thai herbs like chili, basil, kaffir lime, lemon grass, and coriander – everything you’ll need for today’s lunch. She'll teach you to cook sweet green curry from scratch, including pressing the coconut milk from fresh coconuts. Your hands-on cooking lesson will last about 2-3 hours.
